Bellwork:
  • How long did it take you to write your Resume/Do you think it will take you to write your Resume?
  • How long do you think a Recruiter takes to look at your resume? 
Class Objectives:

  • Write for real or potentially real situations in academic, professional and civic contexts (e.g., applications, job applications, business letters, resume)
Today's Agenda:
  1. Read the following Article about Recruiters reading Resumes
    1. Complete the Bell-work  (paper copy in class)
  2. Review Resume Notes Presentation
  3. Review as a class the two resume examples 
    1. Resume comparisons worksheet (to be done in partners/groups)
  4. Now its your turn, create a Resume, 
    1. Helpful  template for a resume ( you do not have to use this particular template) 


PERIOD 9 & 10

Objectives:
  • What is needed in order to get a job?
  • What type of skills do you already possess?


Today's Agenda:
  1. What type of skills are needed in order to work 
  2. Mr. K will be in training tomorrow so be sure to utilize your time wisely today and tomorrow in creating your resumes.
